The Minnesota Greens were happy to join other community groups and organizers for a press conference at the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority to demand that MPHA stop all evictions and call upon Governor Walz to enact an eviction moratorium.
Bicyclists around the world are planning a biking event this Saturday in Unity for Alex Pretti. They are asking that people do NOT have angry or divisive signs, but rather should display signs about unity and togetherness.

The only appropriate response from our government is to remove ICE from Minnesota, abolish the agency, investigate the agents, and put them on trial. No more ICE in our streets.
This is the second time ICE has shot and killed someone in our streets in cold blood, the second time we've had to make a statement like this. Alex and Renee should still be with us.
Yesterday, Greens joined thousands of Minnesotans to demand ICE end their operations and leave the state.
This morning, they shot and killed another legal observer, Alex Pretti. Our hearts go out to his family and we stand in solidarity with the community he was protecting.
GPMN joins thousands of voices in urging @governorwalz.mn.gov to enact a temporary eviction moratorium and encouraging folks to participate in the Jan. 23rd Day of Truth & Freedom.
Remember: we keep us safe, and only through collective action can we resist this authoritarian crackdown.

She should still be alive today, but an ICE officer killed her in cold blood. On top of that, Trump and his administration are covering it up with lies.
This is the ninth ICE shooting since September. We need to abolish ICE and put these agents on trial.
