Academia is an environment of people w. unstable social skills in a context that doesn't really value being nice. It revolves around us making an internal (or even external) hierarchy of people whose work is better than others'. Breathe. It's not YOU, it's THEM & the circumstances we live & work in.

Due to some unfortunate professional hurdles, self reflection hit an all time high in 2025 and here are some of my thoughts:
β³οΈExperience level does not equate to self worth. Different backgrounds, training, resources, etc. come with different opportunities and that doesn't make anyone superior.
