ever since learning that the national bird of 🍉, the p❤️lestine sunbird survived a name change attempt… & that occupiers drove a subspecies of crocodile endemic to the region to extinction… I couldn’t get this image out of my head. a ceasefire is the bare minimum. but let’s start there.

People in the North of Gaza are being starved, and humanitarian aid is not allowed to reach them. Doctors have requested #FeedNorthGaza be shared on socmedia so the voices in North Gaza are heard. This is on my other socs to help boost donations.

Al-Isra was used as an IDF base, meaning it wasn’t demolished because it posed any sort of military threat.

NPR (and other outlets) are reporting that the IDF looted the university’s national museum before blowing up the entire campus.

4 days ago we interviewed Roshdi Sarraj for a @washingtonpost story about the 23 journalists killed in the Israel-Gaza war. Roshdi, also a journalist, spoke of his late Palestinian colleagues with pride. Today we discovered that Roshdi was killed in an Israeli strike on his home

With 19 Palestinian journalists killed so far, it's easy to assume Israel is targeting journalists but then you remember they're dropping more bombs in a week on Gaza than the U.S. would drop in an entire year on Afghanistan. It almost doesn't matter if these are targeted, the result is the same.
