This skill is important cause when you are able to communicate while respecting the boundaries of the individual, the relationship will flourish.

Also, the real world dynamics of the conversation is different than on the internet. I'm still a noob at this but ig life will teach me more.

Words lie, but their bodies do not, not all the time. There are small visual cues in their behaviour that If you can read, you can change the dynamics of the communication and hence you'll end up having a better relationship.

To deal with this skill issue, what I do is i become more transparent about what I want and try to understand how comfortable the other person is. The trouble is sometimes the words can lie but learning their body language helps.

This lesson has been taught to me from time to time by numerous failed friendships and possible connections cause of messing up with this very thing that I assume many people are bad at, including me.
