Day 10: Riddler

This is entirely possible.

Unlikely. This was long before the MCU was even a thing, and at this point Rocket Raccoon was just an obscure character who appeared in a handful of comics a decade before Fifth Element was released.

Concept art for The Fifth Element, Luc Besson’s 1997 sci-fi cult classic movie starring Bruce Willis (the cab driver) and Milla Jovivich (the woman who quite literally fell into his life.) My main takeaway from this pic is, “Why the hell didn’t the raccoon make it to the final film?”

DAY 4: Black Flash

Zoom’s costume is cool because it takes the Flash’s costume and reverses the color palette. Black Flash takes the basic motif of the Flash’s look and gives it a sinister twist.

I still remember the day my best friend in grade school told me that he couldn’t play D&D with me anymore. Not because his parents wouldn’t let him, but because it wasn’t cool anymore. I didn’t stop playing, because I never felt shame for enjoying the things I did, but I lost a good friend that day.

Flash’s costume is one of the most iconic superhero designs ever, so it would make sense that Zoom’s Reverse Flash look would be opposite but equally iconic.

On this day in 1987, Beastie Boys made chart history when their debut album, Licensed To Ill, became the first rap album to hit #1 on the Billboard 200! It held that spot for 7 weeks. License To Ill isn’t my favorite Beasties album, but it does hold a very special place in my heart.
