This is what I've been waiting -- well, since 2015, when Trump rode down his vulgar gold escalator and announced he was running for President, but really my whole life -- for churches to say, and more important, do.

"My own morality," translated into French, is "L'Γtat, c'est moi."
In Donald Trumpβs America, beating law enforcement with flag poles gets you pardoned, but attempting to drive away from law enforcement gets you punished by death.
I find this to be a creative means of non-violent subversion. And pretty nifty. πππ Pass it on!
So with "Heigh ho, heigh ho, it's off to work we go" in the background, the footage is useless. If the MAGA knows that, they'll be instantly pissed. If they don't ... well, some lessons we must learn the hard way.
But Disney's music is copyrighted and no one polices their copyrights more aggressively, so aggressively that they can have not just the video removed, but the poster's channel taken down. And that's the end of the poster's income on that platform. (MAGA influencers make obscene amounts of money.)
I just picked up a cool tip for the next time a MAGA shows up to film at a protest: blast Disney music at them. The person is there to get footage they can post online, almost surely with selective edits and dead certainly with narration bursting with lies and slander.
You really should watch this, at least the first segment which is just 1:17 long. I'm speechless. As stunning as this is, its ripples could have an even bigger impact on medical care in the U.S. -- not to mention compassion and grace.
Today the Card Campaign joins a postcard campaign by pro-democracy groups nationwide. The goal is to bury the White House in postcards protesting Trump's rape of our democracy and country.
There's a postcard on the website ready for you to print, stamp, and mail on Sat, March 15. cc4democracy.com

Mike Lee is a Tea Party "shrink the government just enough that I can kill it in my bathtub" guy. Which answer do you think he wants?
Cartoon of a grinning worker pushing a plunger, blowing up a building with TNT. Several other people are watching and cheering.
Some people, in solidarity with federal workers, are having fun emailing DOGE at HR@OPM.GOV with what they did last week, including pictures of their pets, home improvements, art projects, etc. I would argue this will be more impactful than, say, emailing one's Congressperson right now.

A peaceful protest rally with people carrying signs and dressed warmly.
Out of the almost countless Republican assaults on our democracy, what do you want to protest about, and how? Gatherings? Sit-ins? Boycotts?
Kanye "Ye" West with an image of a t-shirt and swastika that he advertised during the Superbowl.
A modest proposal: let the Superbowl be the Superbowl. The SB is besmirched by political protest, controversial half-time shows, and ads that entertain some but demean many. So let's clean it up: no ads, no shows, no politics, no anthem. Then we'll see how much the actual game matters.
She looks relaxed and lovely.
On the Duolingo app itself, Duo is alive, well, and apparently unaware of the reports of his death which are clearly premature. Now taking bets on when Duo, like Bobby Ewing resurrected on Dallas in an "it was just a dream" dodge, again graces our screens amid great rejoicing and publicity churn.
Righties aren't just weirding us out, they're trying to out-weird each other.
Not that this had anything to do with Republicans compromising air safety and butchering morale across the entire federal government.
You can't make this stuff up.
For this armchair historian, it is awe inspiring to watch crimes against humanity unfold in my own country.
Yes. To ironically misquote Matthew 7:27, And great shall be the fall of it.
Is this a cut-and-paste?
That says it.
Brave man. If you make it to evening and you haven't been fire-bombed, I'll be impressed.
I strongly resist the word evil. Even comparisons of T and Hitler as "evil" were laughably out of proportion. But at some point they fit a little more, then a little more. Now I must agree with the Supreme Court justice who said, I might not be able to define pornography but I know it when I see it.
His followers have the luxury of admiring him because they still don't get that they will be the first to fall.
And if I understand George Takei's repost correctly, Luckovich posted the cartoon on X and it was taken down for violating "community standards."
Thank you. I was about to look for verification.
