Thanks to Bilbao, the debate is shifting on urban speed limits. Once seen as radical, 30 km/h policies are now being adopted across Europe, simultaneously boosting health, safety, livability and efficiency; without crippling mobility. To the contrary, as slower traffic can often mean a faster city.🔚

Does have to be Calais? St Malo is a nice Breton port we got to on a ferry from Portsmouth and then you get to travel via Bretagne which is awesome. Went to my local library this morning to do a bit of research for my current book project and my goodness such a life-affirming space! There was an adult being taught to read on the next table, children enjoying story time, countless people taking out books. So grateful for our libraries ❤️
