The ABATE Study is a groundbreaking clinical trial that is testing a potential treatment for Alzheimer’s disease in people with Down syndrome. We are looking for volunteers who have Down syndrome and are 35-50 years old to participate in the study.
In this talk, Professors Alex Green and Ben Seymour, will discuss a study investigating whether DBS could be used to treat central post-stroke pain, and if this technique might be a way of tackling other brain-related conditions.
