"It's incredibly disappointing, because online voter registration is such a common sense policy that would vastly improve our incredibly antiquated voter registration system"
You may have heard of the federal SAVE Act that would make registering to vote a whole lot harder
But did you know SB 16 - the TX version of the SAVE Act - is dangerously close to becoming law in Texas

I’ve been inundated w/ Q’s about the boundaries of our constitutional rights. Q’s about whether & how people can protest, considerations & calculus for whether they should exercise their speech rights. Freedom in the age of revenge is a fragile premise. We are all feeling the fear. That’s the point.

We didn’t throw tea into a harbor for this.
Ignore the media headlines reporting that freezing federal spending or shuttering federal agencies “raise questions” or “push boundaries.” It’s an anticonstitutional lawbreaking spree.
This NYT sleight-of-hand is part of why Trump’s insane racism flourishes. The implication is that it’s possible to “attack diversity” WITHOUT a “racist undercurrent.”
And it “surfaces” - as though Trump hasn’t been a rabid and explicit racist for years, and this is some new tone.
