Missing the cafeteria from before Triple O's took over.

Today my poor brain is angry.

Why? Brain damage that sometimes rolls a random mood to slap on top of fatigue.

It'll pass but is one of my most common reasons for cancelling plans because it is irrational and very hard to control.

To be fair it's a very queer love story despite technically looking heterosexual from the outside...most of the time, at least.

Being told by my physiotherapist that concussion can lead to chronic fatigue is very validating but doesn't magically make said fatigue any easier to deal with.

Sim seems to think lying to voters and defamation of a councilor can be waved away with the words, "I apologised to Councillor Orr", which is what he repeats, answering every question with it no matter what that question is for the entire length of this video.

I appreciate that the endings are varied enough that you can be the person who wrote the code of laws for the colony in one and the only reason it needed to be written in another.

But anyways, if you ever need to know if something is possible in that beautiful game, I can probably answer the question and am thrilled when anyone takes me up on that offer.

Exocolonist is so freaking good. The worst part about having done all the endings and all but the most banal achievements (I skipped a few along the lines of "have a monocoloured deck") is not being able to talk about it fully with people who haven't.

I could probably pull off "Laurence, short for Florence" given that when I'm addressed by my near inevitably mispronounced legal name I've taken to saying "It's Evan" in response. Some folks even change it in their systems if I'm firm enough, I think acting like there is no other name confuses them.

I'd have been a much more physically violent person if society as a whole thought it had the right to call me Flo.

Had a grandmother liked her first name more than her last I might have ended up a Florence, a name I would not have carried well.

This is a ridiculous suggestion but it seems to work for me - if you're finding yourself reaching for your phone and doom scrolling (because the doom is so very enticing) and you have a tripod of some sort you can attach said phone to?

Put the phone in air jail and don't take it out.

I've been singing the praises of low dose T for perimenopause to friends of all genders because I was so pleasantly surprised by the difference it made.

I hear it can also help endo symptoms but the clinic I went to only offered compounded suppositories because of "undesirable side effects".

I mean...as I understand it the hockey show is basically the opposite of slow burn yearning and the boys are not even a little bit feminine so there are a lot of differences in actual story despite the amusing similarities in character traits.

COVID and flu are still going to exist in February. You can even make reservations that make it look like you're planning to go and then get too sick to travel. Maybe you babysat a kid in an emergency and "you know how they bring home everything".

Just lie. You don't owe them your actual safety.
