#RFKJr has now lost the @nypost.com. His days as HHS Secretary are numbered. Keep up the pressureβletβs get him out the door. nypost.com/2025/09/04/o...

Iβm just a girl, who did a spinal tap on a preschooler last week, asking you to fire RFK Jr.
An absolute barnburner by @gregggonsalves.bsky.social!

"This report sets examples of Kennedyβs costly, chaotic, and corrupt actions from EVERY DAY he has served as Secretary." From Feb 13- Sept 4. 203 days of sowing chaos and spreading misinformation; dismantling HHS research, prevention and health care and more. www.finance.senate.gov/imo/media/do...
Canβt touch this.
The results were so secret that they were published for the entire world to see, even RFK Jr.
But, as @jimalwine.bsky.social and I wrote back in February, βKennedy, a science denialist, will never accept the real scientific evidence that vaccines are safeβ.
ABC News is still calling RFK Jr. a βvaccine skeptic.β The dude was one of the most prominent anti-vaccine activists for decades. Thereβs video of him in 2023 saying that thereβs no vaccine which is safe and effective. You can call him an anti-vaccine activist!
This is one hell of a way to make America healthy again π€―

i find this image so fascinating. it is both a literal example of authoritarianism but also a second-hand reproduction of the aesthetics of other authoritarian states. it's like a simulacra of authoritarianism whose purpose is to attempt to make the simulacra real.
Massive walkout underway at CDC.
RFK jr. must resign so that we can be safe.
Grateful to Dr Demetre Daskalakis for his voice tonight π₯ ππ§ͺπ©Ί

RFK Jr. has done the exact opposite of promoting βmedical freedomβ and has instead dismantled systems that allow people to make choices. This move threatens our health and our autonomy. www.americanprogress.org/article/rfk-...
Young children are at high risk of serious complications from COVID-19. Now parents will face more challenges getting their kids COVID vaccines, having to jump through hoops for approval. And they could find vaccines no longer covered by their health insurance plans. www.cnbc.com/2025/08/27/f...
According to a post on Reddit, a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle t-boned a car in Capitol Hill this morning. Firefighters reportedly used the jaws of life to free the driver, who DC Fire & EMS said sustained only minor injuries.
RFK Jr keeps finding new ways to cast doubt on vaccine safety. If he follows the approach he used with ACIP, he will appoint people with limited vaccine expertise and credentials, conflicts of interest, and personal agendas. www.washingtonpost.com/health/2025/...
A Danish study of more than 1.2 million children over more than two decades found that aluminum ingredients in vaccines do not increase health risks for children. www.medpagetoday.com/neurology/au...
bottom 20% poorer, top 10% 2.7% richer, everyone else 0.1 to 1.5% better off.
New analysis from CBO of the "Big Beautiful Bill" shows the bottom 20% get poorer, not much change for most of America, & the top 10% get meaningfully richer - and that's before tariffs
The "Big Beautiful Bill" was the largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in a single law in history
Trump take line, kick 10 million people off health insurance. Orange man indeed bad.
New from CBO: year-by-year health coverage effects of the "Big Beautiful Bill."
The law kicks 10 million off their health insurance (the difference between the orange and dotted blue line). It also does nothing to address the cliff from the blue to the green, for another 5 million losing coverage.
Percent of people without health insurance, going back to 1963. Huge declines following the creation of Medicare and Medicaid, down to roughly 12%. Creeps back up to 15%. Then comes the ACA, down to 9%. Creeps back up a little. Then comes Biden improvements to the ACA, down to 8%. The "Big Beautiful Bill" pushes it back up to 12%.
In a single act, Trump is undoing significant portions of the health coverage gains of the last 60 years.
Medicare Advantage is costing taxpayers $550 billion this year. UnitedHealth Group and a web of business partners have built a research apparatus β replete with flawed studies and papers β to push back against critics and ward off attempts at MA reform. www.statnews.com/2025/08/11/u...
In addition to undermining efforts to defend against infectious diseases and save lives, RFK Jr misleads and confuses the public and his actions threaten to stall cures for cancer. ufhealth.org/news/2025/su...
