Looking forward to two recitals coming up - a rare public appearance on piano accompanying some nice songs on home turf, and an organ recital in London, including a toccata in F (no, not that one)
One music school is at a university, the other is a conservatoire. They provide completely different musical educations.
Very kind of the Vice Chancellor of Cardiff University to prove on national radio that she’s either being very disingenuous or has *no* idea what she’s talking about when it comes to music education.
Once again, we’re having to fight to stop music being the first thing an organisation cuts when it has money problems. Please sign this petition - many people have benefitted from the work of Cardiff University’s School of Music, and not just those who have taught and studied there (incl. me).
