Thank you to the Grade 9 students and teachers from @nmclrsd.bsky.social, who invited me yesterday to their
Mac's Agents of Change Exhibition. I met students and asked questions about their projects on a wide range of public policy topics. Very impressive! Congratulations and keep up the good work!
Grade 9 M.A.C.E. Project was a big success today. The students showed their learning, passion and dedication to important issues, using their voice to advocate for causes close to their hearts. Thank-you to all who visited NMC today to hear them out.

Text reads: On behalf of The Manitoba School Boards Association, and all school boards in Manitoba, I would like to extend sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Minister Nello Altomare on the occasion of his passing. Nello was a proud and outspoken supporter of public education. He was refreshingly direct when necessary, always respectful, and possessed a keen sense of humour. His presence at Manitoba School Boards Association meetings and events underscored our collaborative efforts, and he always made time to engage with trustees. Nello’s Law will forever be a testament to a truly unique individual whose unwavering commitment to students and families was unquestionable. His legacy of service, leadership, and dedication will endure and he was held in high esteem by the Association.
