He is NOT brilliant, nor a genius. He is a gifted grifter who came along at a time when the USA happened to be filled with ready marks.
I’m horrified that someone would do that. 😞 A better approach would be to say, “hey, I see you’re struggling, how can I help you so you can keep your pets?”
There are pet food pantry’s and organizations that help low income people keep their pets. Instead of scolding those people could donate $$.

You’re right. Plus change so fast that now I read the news once in the mid morning and once in the early evening. It doesn’t take away all anxiety and fear but goes a long way to manage it. I can’t even imagine the books and documentaries that will come in 20 yrs.

Good point. This is why I set a boundary to not check anything on my phone for the first 90 mins. First—Breakfast, coffee and feed/play with the pup. It sets the tone for my day and reminds me that I have agency and don’t have to be a victim of the insanity this regime is trying to impose on us.
