I have watched 6 hours of a DOGE bro deposition. The whole thing, start to finish. It's a fascinating, and horrifying, look at the people who caused so much damage, didn't really achieve anything at all, while still being so sure they are right. This basically sums up how most independents, most never-Trump/anti-MAGA Republicans, and a great many Democrats feel about things right now.
I can't compete with this.
Trump did not announce a U.S. policy then walk it back. That is not what happened, and media presenting it that way does a disservice.
Trump said words he thought might appeal to his audience in the moment, with no connection to actual policy, then did that again with a different question/asker.
I think people who say things like this, especially prominent people with power, should be shamed and shunned and reviled — cancelled, if you will.
“Free speech culture” disapproves of that sentiment — says that it’s worse than what Ogles said.

Hah! No way I could possibly pick just one movie/show. There's just too much great Bruce Campbell across his career. I will call out one of his most under-rated, though, with Jack of All Trades. Absolutely hilarious, and many people don't know it.

I find this to be a great example of how seemingly little things can have a big impact. I open a *lot* of links in new tabs. It's my standard approach for research. This gets in my way to the point where I'm finding myself avoiding Chrome over it. Firefox and Edge both handle this better.

"Split View" is a feature that I've never wanted or intentionally used, and found annoying from day one. The only positive thing was that it was easily disabled via a Chrome config flag. Until recently. Chrome has removed that flag and made the feature impossible to disable. #Chrome #BadUI

Right-click context menu in recent builds of the Chrome Web Browser showing the obnoxious new feature that has been forced into the menu to "Open Link in Split View", and added in a way that makes it easy to unintentionally select the unwanted new feature that can't be disabled.
I find it utterly bizarre that the Chrome Devs have decided to force the ridiculous and obnoxious "Split View" tab crap on us. The annoying feature "Open Link in Split View" was added to the right-click context menu in a terrible place that guarantees unintentional use. #Chrome #BadUI

He's a comedy treasure. And, for anyone who hasn't checked them out, pick up a copy of his autobiography, "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor", particularly the audiobook that he narrates himself. It's awesome. The sequel, "Hail to the Chin" was just as good, too.
Also, if you haven't caught it, his autobiography, "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor" (amzn.to/407qGna) is really fun. Highly recommended. In particular, get the audiobook narrated by Bruce. It's great.
The follow-up, "Hail to the Chin" (amzn.to/4ulF5tM) is just as good, too.
This sucks. Bruce Campbell is one of the most underrated and entertaining actors around. Brisco County Jr, everything Evil Dead, Jack of All Trades, Bubba Ho-Tep, and so many other fun movies and shows. He's a comedy treasure!

I've been a big fan of SQLite for a long, long time. It's an incredibly useful and powerful database that fits wonderfully for so many things (many of them outside of traditional DB uses). It's one thing to think about Russia or North Korea or MAGA/Trumpists to have the funds and ability to hire programmers and build an AI bot farm to spread misinformation and attacks on others. It's another when anyone can build and unleash it. . . and the AI bots behave maliciously on their own.
