AHHAHAHA NO but that was tragic as well π€£π€£π€£
I really have a knack to find out things I don't wanna know huh
Itβs so weird I find such comfort in something so profoundly sad
Very few things have the same chokehold on me as Taylor singing βsay it once again with feeling, how the death rattle breathing silenced as the soul was leaving, the deflation of our dreaming, leaving me bereft and reeling, my beloved ghost and me, sitting in a tree, D-Y-I-N-Gβ
This was the very first thing I saw when I opened this app and I though it was important for you to know that ahahaha

Didn't feel right putting Squirtle up twice, so have my second fave pokemon!
Itβs quicker and that makes it so that the games feel way less draggy
Which imo makes the game interesting and more nuanced
Also instead of the first to collect all prizes wins it works with a security system, where, if you eliminate all of your opps security and then attack directly you win the game, but when you attack security you may activate opposing effects/ lose your attacking digimon
I like it because it does have more interaction between opposing board states, while with pokemon I felt like I was watching paint dry during my oppβs turns, in digimon every time your opp does something to you there are effects that may be triggered on your end
Iβve been playing at my lcs, there is a fan-made simulator but nothing like p tcg live, so you already have to know the rules bc the computer will not correct/ trigger stuff for you
It pains me to say this because Pokemon is my favorite franchise of all time. But DCG is everything I wish PTCG was.
Anyway, hereβs my favorite digimon, look at this cutie
Been playing more and more digimon card game and itβs been a rather enjoyable experience. Never thought Iβd actually like a card game so much
Incoming: these same enamorus being barred in team checks across various vgc tournaments
The game is won because your opponent has only one / two cards on the security stack. There are also blockers and effects that make the game more interactive.
Pokemon has very little interaction and for me that makes the games boring since Iβm essentially doing nothing while my opponent plays
The prize card system is also flawed because youβre giving the person whoβs already winning more resources which more often than not snowballs the game.
Digimon also has decks that allow you to replenish your security stack which imo turns the game more interesting since you canβt just assume
Yeah thatβs basically, itβs important to keep in mind that Pokemon is one of the oldest tcgs, but it does have many flaws.
My biggest pet peeve is that it does feel like playing a game of solitaire with someone in front of you and whoever gets their pieces together first wins
Unfortunately I have tried 3 tcgs total and Pokemon is the only one I didnβt feel like was all that interesting, which is sad since Pokemon IS my favourite franchise
Yesterday I went out and tried the digimon tcg for the first time, and, Iβm so sorry to say I like it much better than Pokemon tcg
Right?? Ahaha

post a pic of you + your fav PokΓ©mon! ππ’
What a shame, because it does look like an interesting concept.
Cyber sleuth is really interesting, I just have a few unanswered questions so far but Iβm midway through hackerβs memory.
But for what itβs worth I did cry at the end of cyber sleuth soβ¦ π
Never played survive, but it also wasnβt on the recommendation list so I can assume it wasnβt anything to write home about haha this one does have a few plot twists that are nice, some more predictable than others, if you do get it make sure to play cyber sleuth first and hackerβs memory second
You never played it? I would really recommend it. A friend recommended it to me because the gameplay is somewhat closer to the Pokemon formula. Iβm not really one to care about graphics so I enjoyed it A LOT, especially the story
Anyways Iβll be moving full time here in the the near future bc twitter is a n*zi hell hole
Long story short: I innocently picked up digimon cyber sleuth and did not consider nor expect it to be a brain altering piece of media
