The intent was more or less to determine how lax you can be on color selection before people can tell the difference, but it makes for a fun little test/score challenge thing.
On my iPad, by eye alone. Stared a long time at some of them. Still flubbed a few, but got enough for what is the best score Iโve seen anyone post so far.

Well I got my first 2 scores: 0.0039 and 0.0029 on my iPad pro m4, which uses a tandem OLED display.
My crazy score was on my LG C1 OLED tv.
Then I got 0.0032 on a cheap lcd I have a Mac mini plugged into.
You can click on โread the post about thisโ to understand what itโs about. Seems to come from whether or not you need to be turbo precise in color selection in software. The test is straight up to see if they can just be a few decimal places less precise in color selection without impacting viewers.
I have no idea if she did that on the side, but she is a phenomenal painter.
I know an artist, havenโt seen her in a while, who knows her color theory in such detail that she was dropping color hex codes in casual conversation. Regularly. And what other ones they work well with. Sheer madness.
Iโm apparently great at color differentiation, but I guarantee you that doesnโt come across in my coloring ๐

Did it a 4th time on a worse monitor and got 0.0032
I already knew I had far superior to average eyesight (near, far, peripheral) but I didnโt know about colors.

Started xenoblade chronicles X recently. Completely let my insane min maxing habits to kick in. I beat chapter 6 and unlocked the skells. Hit level 68 shortly after. Used an infinite jumping exploit to capture all fn points.

It is done. After taking on the responsibility of managing the local cat population since last June, Iโve gotten all cats neutered/spayed and out for adoption. Weโve kept 5 as barn cats. I still dream of adopting 2 of those barn cats for myself, but until I have my own place, it seems unlikely.
