Lmao, I applied to a job over a month ago, and they reached out to me for an interview 3 weeks ago. I called them back and left a VM to set it up, but never heard back.

(3/3) Since I was forced to run it headless at this point, I tried to SSH in and my Pi told me to go fuck myself. Flashed a new OS and that worked, so apparently my NVMe is borked.
SO NOW I'm waiting for a mini PC to get here because fuck that shit lol.

(2/3) THEN I accidentally snapped the ribbon cable clasp on the Pi itself. While I was fucking with that SOMEHOW my HDMI to Micro HDMI adapter just snapped in half (????).
Still have no idea how that happened.
(1/3) Got all excited to update my Pi with another hat, but then found out I didn't have any long enough ribbon cables to reach out. THEN found out that apparently two way ribbon cables have to be shorter than 50mm which is just too short for what I need.

I got myself a Raspberry Pi to run a couple of my servers through, so I wasn't exposing my main PC to all that internet traffic, and I wanted something that felt familiar-ish to Windows.
Debian is good for learning commands and playing around with things, but Ubuntu feels like an actual OS lol.
Oh my god Ubuntu feels SO MUCH better to use than Debian. Like holy shit.
