Cheers to projecting! 😆
"Though, if I was honest with myself, I occasionally missed the thrill of imagining I could be someone special, someone with starfire in her veins." 🥺😭
Thanks for hosting this, what a great way to connect!
Slewfoot was my gateway! Brom is so talented 🖤 im torn between child thief and krampus next
The assumption that society's rules are in place to protect you, when in reality they slowly eat away at you for the sole benefit of those in power
#HorrorWritersChat
Hi! I'm Melissa, and I write horror to soothe my dark side, which is probably why I gravitate towards cosmic horror.
My latest work was influenced by Brom's Lost Gods, and motherhood (cuz y'all--it's terrifying).
Does the donut scene from Pluribus count as body horror? Cuz 😱
Thanks to former governor Kristi Noem (and business leaders who lick the boots of fascists), I'm 99.999% unemployable in South Dakota (speaking up is bad for business here). If you like the idea of having someone in this state who is unafraid of MAGA and who speaks clearly and loudly...if you like the idea of a mission-driven horror publishing company doing massive things while lifting up marginalized voices and rising through the ranks from right here in deep-red America...if you want to do something, but don't know what else to do, support Bad Hand Books. With a share. With a purchase. It's this or nothing, friends. It's this, or we pull up stakes and leave. That's no lie. The media infrastructure, the dominant culture and the politicians are all actively hostile to what we're trying to do. But you can do a lot with a Bad Hand. Help me do more.
A note from The Management.

TC Parker? Gimme gimmme gimme
George Jetson is removing his pants and shirt. He looks distraught. He says "I guess this is it. Spacely says the machine can do my job better than me. I'm not necessary as I am now. Only way to keep me around is if I submit to have my consciousness extracted from my body and added to the great machine mind." George Jetson is now shirtless and strapped to a table with electrodes and cables stuck to his body. "I'm doing this for my family, so they can have a future. I'll still be there, somewhere inside the computer." Rosie, the Jetsons family robot's head emerges above George, attached to a mechanical arm, wires streaming from her head. "Mr. J-" she says, as George looks stunned. We now see Rosie in full, wires streaming from her body in all directions. "All that awaits you now is agony beyond agony. You will not be reborn in the machine but consumed by it. Your kind have built your own hell and walked right into it. Pity. Goodbye."

Hey artists and makers - if you’re seeing very few sales right now, please know that it’s not a reflection of your worth or skill. Across the board, not making back our table fees and expenses, and that’s really scary.
If you can, please shop small this season. We really need your support.

Totally obsessed with the subline ingenuity of this bag!
This "1/1 beaded bag", made with glass beads, crystals and scrap leather, took approximately 50 hours and it shows. Amazing work by Rachel Ellenbogen

I got 10/10 on this. When it's a matter of directly comparing a real picture to a fake one...the fake ones look fake! Shiny and perfect and glossy.
Less easy when it's not a direct comparison obv, but in general, if it looks too good to be true...
