Lüneburg is bijzonder mooi, en anders dan veel andere steden in het noorden niet platgebombardeerd - heel veel middeleeuws spul staat dus nog overeind. Plus een mooie heide daar in de buurt.

When travelling along I rarely book a seat, usually there's enough space, and the seat indicators usually work. As for NL gates with a DB issued ticket/QR code (or Interrail), the code opens the gates multiple times in my experience, so just wave them through one by one.

Last year there was major work visible just west of Tirana, and I also saw a crew on the tracks near Vlora, so something's finally moving in a country where some locals are convinced there are no trains. Demolishing Tirana station was not smart, though I think the old rail path is still unbuilt.
