New report out this week: Leading Beyond the Gap from Womenβs Health Collective Canada (with McKinsey Canada).

I hope it's not lost on anyone that the exact same motherfuckers on the Canadian right who spent decades wielding the idea of Canadian Patriotism like a cudgel, talking about "real Canadians", accusing every opponent of "hating Canada", are now pivoting to a platform of literal treason
I've got a new piece for @canadiandimension.bsky.social about residential school denialism, the Making a Killing documentary, and the politics of Canada's anti-Indigenous industry: canadiandimension.com/articles/vie...
I hope that as part of a strong Canadian community you will stop all government and liberal party communication on the platform formerly known as Twitter. Endorsing a platform for CSAM is a bad look for Canada.

Yeah, as I've been saying, we overcompensated because the media ran with the stupid 'GDP per capita' and 'immigrants hurt housing' framing. This is long-run damage to the economy by short-term thinking, feeding xenophobia, and helping to further destroy Canada's world class universities.
Three Democrats (Cuellar, Gonzalez, and Davis) joined the Republicans to pass Marjorie Taylor Greene's federal ban on gender affirming care through the House of Representatives.
It is repugnant that the federal government won't give people health care, but it will TAKE IT AWAY from trans people.

Councillor Tim Tierney is wrong about βChronic No-Votersβ in his Ottawa Citizen Op/Ed on Saturday.
His opinion would be easier to take seriously if the comments werenβt coming from someone with a 15-year track record of being a reliable yes-man for every budget. 1/21
To be very clear: Kennedy's team is messing with a vaccine which has led to a 99 percent drop in the incidence of hepatitis B, which kills, early and painfully, 25 percent of the children who get it.

Ontario's hospitals have been starved to the point of collapse, but sure, find more savings because Doug Ford refuses to fund the system adequately.
Just appalling.
Doug Ford taking over our democratically elected school board trustees is yet another infringement of our democratic rights and very Trump like. Slowly, like waves eroding a beach.
Deachman: Speed cameras aren't the enemy Doug Ford makes them out to be ottawacitizen.com/news/local-n...
OF COURSE SPEED CAMERAS WORK! Thereβs clear evidence of that. They save lives, and removing them will costs lives, including KIDSβ LIVES. The narrative of βcash grabβ is a political tactic. Every dollar raised by such cameras is evidence of too much deadly speeding and the need for such cameras.
