Hey, #WriteSky humans! Our micropress is starting a new weekday chat! Join us!
I’m Cait, pronounced like 🐱. I love arranging the alphabet. Folks even gave me awards for it, which was very nice of them! I am one-half of the ownership of Dindsdale Press. I also really like cake!

That’s great that you have multiple ways of creating. It’s also so nice when we have assistive tech as well. I used dictation software for an entire technical writing contract years ago. #AlphabetArrangers

I can always create, it’s just a matter of what I’m capable of creating. If I have a migraine or burnout, I tend to write by dictation or draw. If I’m anxious or in pain I tend to write poetry. If I can’t do any of that I worldbuild for ttrpgs. #AlphabetArrangers #WriteSky

I'm in the fortunate position that writing (drafting, at least) _is_ my stress relief -- so -- I wrote an entire 30k 0-draft for a new book idea in the past couple of weeks 🤣😅💀

Oh, I love watercolours. I really admire folks who can paint with them. It’s a skill I’ve always wanted but have to be content with being an admirer of the art! #AlphabetArrangers

My ability to write fiction got severely kneecapped a decade ago, but I took up watercolors last year and it's been saving my sanity. #AlphabetArrangers

#AlphabetArrangers Work on my prose has stalled over job-hunting stresses.
My main creative outlet has been doing some TTRPG homebrews of sorts (system conversions, mainly)

At the moment I’m enjoying writing some dialogue between an office worker with murderous impulses and a messenger from hell who finds their train of thought… inspiring. #AlphabetArrangers

My life is a stress nebula right now, but all I want to do is create. I’m writing and making crafts. Also: I bought LEGO kits. They calm me like a stim. #AlphabetArrangers

Banner image has a similar text as the post. There’s also an image of the Dinsdale Press logo.
There's a lot going on right now. Are you able to create at this time?

This is a great answer. And yes, complex characters and their nuances do seem to be more fully fleshed!

Why are morally grey characters so popular in fiction?
Morally grey characters:
Do you love to read them? Do you love to write them? Why do you think they’re so popular in fiction? #WriteSky #WritersCommunity

I have done things like that before! Proofreading was an experience after my replace all fiasco!
And babyshitting feels like it should be a word!
