Thank you! X is in free fall. I don’t really like this app either, but it operates more like the old Twitter than X does. Frankly I long to leave it all behind, but it’s one of my only connections to the outside world!
This has very little to do with flu shots, & everything to do with Covid-related immunodeficiency at the population level after 6 years of nonstop COVID.
We can’t seem to get out of our own way.
www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
It’s VERY down, & the outage proceeded weeks of bizarre algorithm changes that has nuked engagement & entirely changed the experience (no doubt on purpose).
I haven’t posted on here in a long time, but Twitter’s planned collapse is accelerating, & it doesn’t seem X is long for this world.
Things are deteriorating as expected. Everyone is sick & getting sicker. That Covid causes immunodeficiency is still not acknowledged, & probably won’t be. Bleak.

I’m so sorry. I have heard people are taking longer to test positive with symptoms & staying sick longer, some are sick with multiple infections. Lots of GI complications & some experts speculate JN.1 may linger in the gut longer leading to more LongCovid. Wishing them full/speedy recoveries.

PBS: PBS: Jha has warned that without more money, vaccines will be harder to come by, tests will once again be scarce, and the therapeutics that are helping the country weather the current omicron-driven surge in cases without a commensurate increase in deaths could be sold overseas before Americans can access them. “I think we would see a lot of unnecessary loss of life if that were to happen,” Jha said this past week. “But we’re looking at all the scenarios and planning for all of them.”

You and me both! I can definitely relate to that. I’m so sick, and so tired, but I can’t & won’t give up because I intend to see this through one way or another.
ENTIRELY by design. It was a masterful strategy for reinforcing the status quo.
