Busy day today. Just got done catching up with old poetry friends over drinks in Webster Groves. Now on my way to a script reading in St. Peters. And after that, got a birthday party in South City.

Tired of giving my time and empathy to those who will abuse it. No time for immature chaos from people in their 30s and 40s. Take that nonsense outside! We're all better than that!
Last Thursday was so much fun. Like a technicolor Fellini film, but in the best way. Best of luck to everyone on the Vagabond Poetry Tour. Hope to see you all down the road.
My fifth full-length poetry collection, THE UNHEARD MUSIC, and my first book of short stories, TALES FROM THE RIVERBANK, are out now!
Nothing like the smell of green onions and pork steak to let you know its warm in St. Louis. All that's missing is someone blasting KSHE 95 from a window, lol
Keep an eye out for the newest issue of the Chiron Review. A brand new piece of mine made the cut along with some great new poems by the likes of Kevin Ridgeway, Heather Kays, and John Dorsey!
Right up there with "I have concepts of a plan."
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower"
Some kind words from my friend and fellow poet Kevin Ridgeway about my new book, The Unheard Music. See what all the hype is about by ordering a copy at dunawaybooks.com
And also check out Kevin's poetry (also available via Dunaway Books ๐ ). It's is some of the best in the country!
For those in the Bay Area, my new poetry collection, THE UNHEARD MUSIC, is available at the Beat Museum in North Beach! ๐
The first batch of the new poetry split came in. Looks pretty good. A nice addition to a pretty bad ass bibliography! ๐
Down a few pounds and been loving how I've been looking the past few days. ๐
For the first time since the election, I felt like I had enough energy to write some prose. Sixty-five pages into a novella I started last autumn. Hopefully I'll have a first draft done by spring.
I was just told by an older gentleman that I look like Matthew Perry. I'll take it, lol
I was gonna leave MoKaBe's to run my errands, but then "These Days" by Nico and "Both Sides Now" by Joni Mitchell came on. Obviously, I had to order another coffee and enjoy the music.
OUT NOW!
Pretty cool bibliography if I may say so. ๐
Yesterday it was 73. Today is a high of 47. My allergies can't take this shit!
Oh, Joe Strummer, please give me the strength to get through this!
Well it's Groundhog Day... again...
Especially if you're towards the end of a season. "I mean, there's only three episodes left. I can coast on three and a half hours sleep..."
Fourteen hours before the crash. ๐
New book is looking very pretty! Check out THE UNHEARD MUSIC wherever indie books are sold online! And keep an eye for it to be in stores starting next week.
The proof for the new poetry split is looking good!
