Magic costumes can be difficult to remove. Especially if they turn you into a magical creature without any knowledge already of how to remove your seal skin.
I think this method is a little less graceful than the fairytales suggest....

DAY 0 : A male human receives a strange looking necklace and wears it. DAY 3 : Fur had started growing all over his body and a short tail grew from his tailbone. His facial structure had completely altered into ones of a feline, complete with the ears and sharp teeth. He looks in the mirror and pulls his mouth, examining his new set of teeth. He also starts to notice that his butt has grew much more bigger and softer too. DAY 8 : The human had completely changed, both gender and species. She notes that her larger chest was causing discomfort from rubbing against the fabric of her shirt and considers finally getting women underwear. DAY 16 : She wakes up and looks down at her MASSIVE boobs, playfully commenting that her chest had grown significantly larger again. She had accepted her new curvy body and is very happy with it.

Actually...is the ebay aunt/mum archetype even all that common outside Australia? I know NZ has its own other auction site but most of the serial junk flippers outside of Aus that I know of use Gumtree/Craigslist/Kijiji

All of a short story (or poem? I don't even know) I was writing as a vent piece about chronic pain, executive dysfunction and occasional lethargy and identity and freedom and dissociation and being consumed by your escape and of acceptance, lost to that

It also feels like a really nice stretch for my mind :3

From "I don't like writing, I like having written" to "actually shit I like writing what the fuck is this??"

Also the spicy autocorrect can't siphon off my idea notes >:3 nor can a save battery die and take thousands of words with it...

Turns out I'm one of those critters for whom writing by paw commits something to mind more deeply than typing (or dog forbid, "I can record this lecture and listen back when I'm less sleepy", shi lied to hirself while playing world of goo...)

The portability of...oh, a book and pen, helps too :3

And~ I've come to understand a bit about how I crueled my chances in uni the first time, and to an extent got less out of my second time

Writing notes to read back later works on a computer for me. Except I don't read them.

Writing notes on paper is ponderously slow, but I need to reread much less

BUT

It's satisfying. It's gentler on my wrists than typing on most keyboards has been. It's taught me about myself a bit, more on that in a sec :3

And it's mine. It's satisfying to see words from my head in shiny ink and read where an idea took me and the change in spacing as excitement takes hold

I didn't think I'd be glad to return to writing by paw, yet here I am :3

My paw-writing is not where I want it to be; based on still-lingering comments from school it's unsightly and borderline illegible, and I have foibles that would (and do) make calligraphy enthusiasts cringe in physical pain...
