Pauli Murray was one of the greatest legal minds of the 20th century.
As a member of the ACLU board of directors starting in 1965, Murray played a key role in turning our organization’s attention to gender inequality. We honor them this Women's History Month.

The data is in: the NIH goalposts have shifted.
What were once almost certain fundable scores have become coin flips and what used to be likely grants have become aspirational, leading to fewer awards.
Another manifestation of how HHS policies have led to fewer awards and less science.
