I write short blogs usually triggered by comments on material I have read. I have a strong belief in democracy and the rule of law. Those trying to break this system of governance, are traitors to their country.
It had a large following in its day that built up as more persons caught onto it
It was meant for the women who mostly read but men too started getting into it
By the end there was a ‘mass’ following, who had their favourite characters & were really quite into it

The last chapter Dickens wanted was squashed by the paper editor as they would have had a public riot on street in front of the news paper office
So it is good to get the book with the newspaper published ending & the ending Dickens had originally wanted as the ending
That is my all time favourite book. The very first soap opera written as a chapter is the next weeks publication.
Read it, knowing that, & how years ago, they had to wait until the next publication came out to find out what happens next.
