Oh yes I used to love that kind of thing. I knew I was amongst my people when I went up to do a presentation wearing 3 layers of clashing patterns including a men’s shirt, & a bunch of ppl from my program complimented me on my style. Until that point everyone just thought I was fashion-challenged.
I like getting older. I know too many people who have not gotten the chance. Plus I am more than happy to finally be outside of the mainstream for beauty standards now. Automatic disqualification from stupid games is my idea of peace.

More & more I come to understand that the overarching patterns are things like, “ppl who believe we should do something to address or prevent suffering” vs “ppl who don’t” & I used to resist being that reductive but after 40yrs on this planet I really do believe that sums it up.

Trans healthcare needs to be led by trans people, to be accountable to trans communities and trans youth.
Folks who don't believe in the existence of a trans child cannot continue to hold the reins of healthcare policy and governance.
