So my survey got attacked by some bots, and now I've lost 50% of my data. Please help me get to 1,000 real humans who actually meet my survey criteria? This sad PhD candidate thanks you in advance.

More clearly defining your sample based on demographics specific to your participants would be more helpful. β€˜Typically developing’ can also be different depending on SES, and cultural experiences and expectations

It would be helpful to have a definition of β€˜typically developing’ as it is for example typical for a portion of the population to be diagnosed with a struggle with mental and or physical health conditions. In neuro / psych research we often forget the impact of and interaction with physical health

24.09.2023 06:32 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I completely agree. Often it is one trait, diagnosis or a particular set that are different between people or groups of participants. β€˜Healthy’ therefore appears to mean something different in every paper. I second your suggestion for this change to be more specific in our participant descriptions.
