Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death in women worldwide.
Women with CVD continue to be under-diagnosed and under-treated due to misconceptions and lack of awareness among both patients and doctors.
Young women are more likely to die following a heart attack than young men.
Heart disease – the No. 1 killer of women – can sometimes be a complication of breast cancer treatment.
Older women who survive breast cancer are more likely to die of heart disease than a cancer recurrence.
The best analogy I've heard for neurodivergence is that it is like running on a different operating system. It's like iOS vs Android. Both are good. Both do the job. They just have different features that work better for certain things.
