Multiple times when planning hand to hand action scenes in DnD and in my other projects, specifically the 'kitchen' fight from raid 2 is a huge inspiration to me for how a fight should look
If you love or are interested in international martial arts/action movies and aren't too squeemish with violence then I highly recommend and as for why it works for me, these two movies are my biggest inspiration when it comes to choreography and combat direction, I have thought to these movies-
The RAIDS are Indonesian martial arts movies written and directed by Welsh filmmaker Gareth Evens and star one of my favourite martial arts actors

What THE RAID lacks in story is very much picked up by RAID 2, the sequel focuses much more on the protagonist of the series Rama as he continues to get pulled deeper and deeper into the world of crime
I love this series a lot, Raid presents itself very on point as a straight forward action/martial arts movie with a big gimmick, it's all set in one apartment block but it has a lot of surprises waiting to beat you over the head, I don't want to spoil these 2 too much because they are so worth-
It's movie time on things Motivator likes! I think over time we'll get a good range of movies, games, music etc on here so hopefully people might go take a look at em but for now it's days 5 and 6! With THE RAID AND....THE RAID 2!

I was at this for a bit mostly because my first 2 attempts at drawing Ezio was a disaster, I'm sure other artists have been there, where you hate a composition so much you just delete it straight away, well I did that for a bit before landing on this one which I like
This will make up for no Motivator likes yesterday (I was busy doing this) day 1 really put on an Ezio spiral so I had to draw him, hope y'all like him, the white grid effect in the back is how the animus looks in the early AC games (the device that allows the modern day protagonist to see the past)
