Sad to think it's been clinging to life all this time and nobody knew.

Definitely felt.
The worst has been when I wake from a fully invested relationship that somehow only lasted from my eyes closing to their opening, but somehow felt like a lifetime...
...with a person who evaporated upon waking.
It's just the kind of media illiteracy this administration would employ to think that Mothra would be on their side.
She'd be more like "Godzilla chose the wrong country to assault."
Such a low bar, though.
Wow, I didn't even know MapQuest was still a thing.
Yup. Genuinely thought it was dead long ago.
...but then we're still calling people cringe as a way to shame them about their behavior. It feels like a mixed message.
On a related note, I wish we could come to a concensus about whether "cringe" is something to be rejected or embraced.
I see all these videos telling people people not to kill what's cring about them, but kill the part of them that cringes.
Okay, this helps put things in context...I assumed they were indicating they have/have had "0 baddies" in their life and were complaining about it.
And I mean, yes, that's something to complain about, but maybe not advertise, mah dudes.
...I may have misunderstood the import of the original post.

People will be so fucking transactional...don't people just do stuff for people because they like and/or care about them anymore?
Somehow, that seems like the most surreptitious insult.
Definitely keeping a list. I bet Temu Spaceman Mark Kelly is a yes. Anyway. Keep close watch on this one and note if your Senators push him through. Call them now and let them know you're watching

I would love to see the Clockwork Century or Booking Agent novels brought to life in a streaming series.
I made an attempt at sorting my son and ex's shit in my house today...which is what I took this whole week off for and I've barely managed to touch it until now.
I think I have a couple of weeks left before they're supposed to pass through to pick up this shit...but I don't know if I'll be ready.
A tweet that reads βThe new academic wealth gap isn't your university. It's not even your advisor's connections. It's who knows Claude can turn 50+ research papers into a thesis chapter in 3 hours and who's still manually coding qualitative data. I just watched a sociology PhD skip 8 weeks of analysis. Here are the 9 prompts they used:β

NEW: Senate Democrats have filed legislation that would prevent the U.S. from attacking Cuba without congressional approval as they seek to force a vote on President Trump's stated goal of a "takeover" of the Caribbean country 9:59 AM β’ 3/13/26 β’ 8.9K Views
See now this should actually be given some praise, getting ahead of the possibility and raising the alarm about another war of aggression based on the president's own words
Yeah, I had the flow moment yesterday morning finishing recreating one of my lost short stories.
And I knew the moment the story ended I would need to do SO much editing to properly fashion it into the story I actually had in my head.
I hate how often in my dreams there's this element of challenging heights and scaling impossible surfaces with the distinct persistent sensation that I'm going to give into gravity any second.
Why does my brain, that knows it hates heights, love chasing them in my sleep!?
Coming to the truly frightening recognition that as much as I need a new job...I've been out of the job market for so long (and my last two jobs I only got because someone else passed it up and passed them on to me), I have no idea how one goes about doing that anymore.
