That's not entirely true. We're going to get to electric car adoption in my lifetime. Not because of the environment or because of trump but because it makes economic sense.
But we are not going to fix health care before I die. It just won't happen.
To say nothing of the fact that he killed momentum on things like modernizing our energy grid and fixing our fucking healthcare system.
We could have had these things by now if we had just never elected this guy.

He crumbled respect and influence the US had in many fields, including international politics. Respect and influence that took us decades to build.
