When I was little, I didn’t even know the word. Lots of kids bandied “gay” around as a derogatory term though, including myself for a while. But I’m pretty sure if I went around here telling people that “gay” is a slur and they’re not allowed to claim it, none of them would be too impressed

Yeah I just binged the Scream movies and their whole deal is like, what if people familiar with pop culture were dressing up in costumes from Spirit Halloween and knifing each other. It’s relentlessly meta in a way that makes it feel real. Scary Movie just seems kinda sauceless in comparison

I go to most big film releases at the theatre, but the Snow White adaptation was so sauceless that I think I’ve sworn off Disney live action remakes for good. Probably wise bc what they did to Stitch sounds sacrilegously terrible
