Random thoughts on a Taco Tuesday morning -
There is no patron saint for tacos. Missed opportunity or gross oversight ?
Who do we need to talk to to rectify this?

8:30am. Turns on the computer. Opens browser. Reads headlines. Deep breaths. Sips more coffee. "Let's break for an early lunch", he declares. Maybe even a nap, he concludes.

Today I was reminded why I would rather shop online than to deal with a store associate. After I declined the extended warranty, one could sense a slight anger and a full dose of disappointment emanating from this person. Worse than being bitchslapped by the aftertaste of diet soda.

Cookbooks are truly the one of the best things of the 20th/21st century. A real collection of living history. B&N now carries a real library of well curated collections from all over the world. In the presence of book fragrance and feed for the soul and mind A good end to 2025 adventures.

(Dec 31st, 2025). Maybe one more thought before I veg out to the food channel while waiting for the neighborhood to explode with fireworks.

(Dec 31st, 2025) A rare holiday outing to Rice Village. Taking advantage of the nice afternoon weather. A very nice mix of commercialism, capitalism and bourgeoisie. A pleasant visit to the British Isles. Tried on a few hats. Non fit. But oh the possibilities if they did. Because what the dickens?

A toast to yourself, the New Year and The Undiscovered Country.

Pay more attention to the flows of little wonders, the spirit's aphrodisiac.
You will promise to live well, to live better.
To love no less.
More importantly, practice art, create art, make art.
I will not wish you a Happy New Year, but I will wish you a HAPPIER one.

To friends who are one with the stars, may your light continue to guide me.
Old heroes fallen, but new ones arose.
We have lost, but also gained.
A little bit more tired, but more focused.

There are no failures, only battle scars and a better immune system.

To new friends and acquaintances, I am grateful that you are sharing your journey with me.
To lost friends, may you never be abandoned.
To rediscovered old friends, I am grateful for our renewed bond.

(Dec 30th, 2025) End of year doesn’t mean end of projects. Pen to paper on a new duet compostion. Working towards realizing a public performance (or several) in the year 2026. Watch this space for updates.

(Dec 27th, 2025) a super rare outing for me. Attending a show without the camera and working/shooting. Phenomenomaly at MeowWolf Houston. I believed I was in fact in a Tardis. What a strange and wonderful world they have created. And kudos to cast and crew for making it fun.

(Dec 13th, 2025) crack of dawn at the first annual “Audition HISD” workshop at HSPVA. Seeing many fellow theater “elders” there to inspire current future theater stars. A very good day for the arts in Houston. Over 160+ headshots taken.

(Dec 14th, 2025) subway photoshoots are always challenging, super fast, but super fun. Promo session with the cast of The Garden Theatre Cruel Intentions. Opens December 26th at MATCH. Have you got your tickets yet?

At the mall for some last minute Christmas shopping. The sights and scents of desperation from clueless husbands and significant others… so thick, so so thick. God bless the ultra patient sales peeples at Macy’s. Heroes of the season.

How many more days to ugly sweater season?

(Nov 28th, 2025) made it out to Life is Shorts festival to see Juan Sebastian Cruz short Cumbia musical. Yeah, glad I fought the good coma and filmed it.
