8:30am. Turns on the computer. Opens browser. Reads headlines. Deep breaths. Sips more coffee. "Let's break for an early lunch", he declares. Maybe even a nap, he concludes.
Today I was reminded why I would rather shop online than to deal with a store associate. After I declined the extended warranty, one could sense a slight anger and a full dose of disappointment emanating from this person. Worse than being bitchslapped by the aftertaste of diet soda.

Cookbooks are truly the one of the best things of the 20th/21st century. A real collection of living history. B&N now carries a real library of well curated collections from all over the world. In the presence of book fragrance and feed for the soul and mind A good end to 2025 adventures.

(Dec 31st, 2025) A rare holiday outing to Rice Village. Taking advantage of the nice afternoon weather. A very nice mix of commercialism, capitalism and bourgeoisie. A pleasant visit to the British Isles. Tried on a few hats. Non fit. But oh the possibilities if they did. Because what the dickens?

Pay more attention to the flows of little wonders, the spirit's aphrodisiac.
You will promise to live well, to live better.
To love no less.
More importantly, practice art, create art, make art.
I will not wish you a Happy New Year, but I will wish you a HAPPIER one.

(Dec 27th, 2025) a super rare outing for me. Attending a show without the camera and working/shooting. Phenomenomaly at MeowWolf Houston. I believed I was in fact in a Tardis. What a strange and wonderful world they have created. And kudos to cast and crew for making it fun.
