How are the club the victim in this situation? They've created the circumstances that have led to players wanting to leave. I'm curious how you've arrived at that conclusion? Who has taken them for a ride?
We'll persist with Veiga at LB before even considering giving ISS a look in a competitive environment.
Why would he sign a 7-year contract? The club are the ones who invariably treat academy players like numbers to balance a spreadsheet. You can't start crying if talented players want to leave. They are literally reaping what they've sewn.
Someone has to justify the spend. They'll always get opportunities before someone coming through. It's a tale as old as time.
He had just literally signed the maximum contract he could have before the club exiled him for not signing again. Given how other Academy products have been treated by BlueCo, I don't see him being the problem. I'd be surprised if he was being difficult.
I sincerely hope that the club start to come to their senses here. Josh is an elite talent and would be a perfect fit for the hybrid RB/RCB role.
Someone really needs to introduce Reece James to yoga or pilates. His hamstrings are constantly on the edge of oblivion. I really fear he's not even going to be able to replicate Ledley King levels of output.
This is actually a phenomenal shout.
This is 100% the correct answer.
International break distraction ― #CFC edition
José once said that 11 Azpilicuetas would probably win the Champions League.
So, which player at their #CFC peak do YOU think would have the best chance of winning the CL if they were playing every position?
I'm here for the convoluted reasoning.
This looks rather promising. I might start posting regularly(ish) again.
