I am curious as to the entire construction of a merchant costume, starting with the fabric. Wool or linen? Or 50/50? And what weight?

Another delving into Pinterest got me into making cluster earrings, and we're starting off with these grape earrings. Made of 6mm dyed agate and glass beads with Czech glass leaves. They're currently on nickle-free kidney ear wires.
