Over the weekend I got CSN&Y’s 4 Way Street, the 1984 DUNE soundtrack and Counting Crow’s August and Everything After on vinyl and this is the first day this week I’ve been able to work from home. And let me tell you, it’s been glorious.

I just finished “Hercule Poirot's Christmas” last night and it was a blast. It had been a bit since since I’ve read a Christie novel and I loved it. But now I need to decide if I want to read another Christie book or finally start “Empire of Silence” as was the plan.

Man, I thought they nailed the Stranger Things finale. By far, the best episode of season 5. Yeah maybe it had a “Return of the King” ending, but I think it needed it. And that last shot, so sad, so good. I loved it.

I’ve seen a lot of James Cameron interviews as he’s been doing press for the new AVATAR. And I love how he attentively listens to the interviewers question and says “wow. That’s an absolutely fantastic question.” He’s done this many times. He seems like an awesome guy.

Today I really didn’t want to work out. But I didn’t exercise yesterday because I was too busy (mostly fun stuff) so I kind of forced myself to today. I told myself 10 minutes. Just do 10 and if you feel the same then stop. 40 minutes later, I crushed it and set a new PR. Funny how that happens.

But the new Avatar is pretty good!

I don’t understand how Cameron is just so much better at CGI and 3D than anyone else in the business. This film was astonishing. It looked so damn real. And the movie kicks ass. James Cameron doesn’t miss.
