My habit has always been to put the news on whilst pottering round in the morning, I even do it downroute 🤣 HOWEVER, recently I've been trying to avoid all news therefore found myself watching Frasier in the morning and I'm quite enjoying it.
5 things I love (weekend morning edition):
1) waking up before everyone else
2) a clear blue sky (planes are a bonus)
3) a croissant with jam
4) listening to the radio in the kitchen
5) the kitchen being showroom tidy

There's an inch of wine left in the fridge with my name on it. Shame I have a baby stuck to me and the living room is an impossible level of chaos because I've tried to start packing for our move 🤣🙂
I almost wrote something really bad but there's enough of that everywhere I look.

1) my baby's soft warm cheek when she's fallen asleep on me
2) my son's tiny cute hands
3) the sound of engines powering up for take off
4) red hot tea and 20 biscuits
5) singing along to the radio in my car
Goodbye sweet clothes, hope someone else makes good memories with youuuuuuu.
I saved all my son's baby/toddler clothes in case this baby was a boy (spoiler: she's not). So I've just bagged it all up for the charity shop. It wasn't as emotional as I expected, which is good news really or else I think I might have hoarded it all.
My current favourite chocolate is dark choc and raspberry. Lidl's tastes better overall but it's not quite raspberry-y enough like this M&S one.
Sounds like me going to the corner shop for £6 worth of chocolate and crisps on my health walks.
I had my haircut today and I actually like it for a change. I also found my Kindle. A great day 😎
Someone in London has won £10.5m on the Lotto and has about 3 weeks to claim it 😂 I hope this person doesn't realise they've won, rather than someone who is frantically looking for a lost ticket 😬

Real life fades into obscurity when you get to go to work as crew. Problems don't exist at 35,000ft.
Dvorak on Classic FM got me feeling like I am boarding a full flight 😍 stow that bag, have this menu, enjoy this champaaaaaagne. Love mat leave but nothing takes the stress away like slamming that aircraft door behind you and pushing back off stand.
Something I think about more often than most normal people is the fact I never got to go to Live Aid. Mainly because I wasn't born. Not even close. Yet I still feel AGGRIEVED.
I'm enjoying the Winter Olympics but surely I can't be alone in thinking that curling is painfully boring. Your fellow athletes are flying along at 80mph in the skeleton, doing a backflip on a snowboard or flying through the air on ice skates...and then there is curling.
Obviously my medical qualifications are nil. To obtain a NVQ 3 in Health and Social care takes two years full time 🤯🤯🤯 how can I do that? There has to be other routes. I don't really know where to begin looking.
I've had such good care throughout my pregnancy, all the medical staff have been wonderful and I've found the whole thing really inspiring tbh. I love my job but I will return to flying part time and it would be great to pad that out with something in healthcare.
Have watched a lot of low quality TV the last few weeks. I can't believe people are arguing on Four in A Bed about the quality of sausages. Get a life. Someone turn this crap off.

Suppose it was a silly question asking if you had anywhere else on your list 😂 I have seen hardly any of Asia bar a few main cities. Tokyo was supposed to be my last trip but then I was grounded, I've never been to Japan, I did debate just going anyway but I was too sick. I would love to go one day!
At least there are plenty of other nice places to visit! Time to revisit the bucket list I think! Is there anywhere else on your itinerary? If you liked Hong Kong you'd probably like Singapore! Have you been before?

What's happening in the US is worrying on several levels. There was crew discussion this week about people feeling unsafe to visit and trying their best to swap off any trips to the US. Our crew community is broad and varied so I understand people feeling anxious.
