In our case, Nanami changed her name because our littles couldn't pronounce the original properly and just called her 'Na' or 'Nana'. That catalyzed further changes away from source, but she's happy this way, so we're happy for her.
Being a system / plural does not make you less worthy of connection, belonging, loving and into the messy. You're plurality and your system aren't burdens, yous aren't too much. Yous aren't too many. Your disabilities and neurodivergencies do not deminish your worth or who you are, and they should never make yous feel unworthy of connection or meaningful relationships, whether romantic or otherwise. Yous deserve to have space held for yous, to be comforted, loved, and truly known - by yourselves, by each other, and by others.
