The US will not recover from Trump.
The US will not recover from Trump.
He has his finger on the pulse of America
Fox cheerleaders are no less guilty than Julius Streicher. They encourage and validate Trump's actions.
Everything he does validates this statement:
The "Sure, Jan" meme is overheating.
I didn't dig, but she's German and claims to know very little about her paternal ancestry, so π€·π»ββοΈ
To be fair, it's long been a thing for women to preserve their maiden name. My current wife did and her hyphenated last name is too long for nearly every database (resulting in my half getting truncated). It gives her deniability that we're related.
I had a career selling software systems and I don't recall a client that had more than the bare minimum of staff and resources to keep their system running. They had zero bandwidth to plan and prepare for outages. It was always reactive. I left the industry a few years ago, so maybe that's changed.
He comes across as GΓΆring during the Battle of Britain.
He's not wrong. In the history of flight, the number of countries that have "unconditionally surrendered" following air attack alone remains pegged at zero.
I'm ahead of the game. I channel blocked it when Tapper turned his show into a running ad for his Biden hit piece.
The opinions of Bret have no greater weight than randos on Social Media.
The local Murdoch rag has thoughts:
K, the unstated reason the hackers succeeded to this degree is because Stryker (like pretty much most companies) spent the bare minimum to secure their network and failed to pen test it. This is because CEOs treat themselves to Champagne foot baths rather than invest in robust data security.
The greatest damage Iran can do to US prestige is to stand back and let that shitshow happen as planned.
In terms of reach, talking to those podcasters is pretty much the same as a news blackout.
Reminds me of that scene in Das Boot when the sub makes a run past Gibraltar.

I was told this was the best economy in the history of economies.
The Detroit metro has a concentration of people from the Middle East. On a recent visit, that was emphasized by the number of burkas I saw at a suburban mall.

To be fair, the US leader is seriously damaged, too. Dain Bramaged.
One who is blinded by the luck of her station.
I renewed my passport today. Cost me $249.50 (renewal, expedite, postage, money order). Trump's voter ID BS will be a poll tax many can't afford. Above that, given the extended timeframe to get a passport or RealID, a large number of eligible voters won't get approved ID in time.
Short countdown to another Trump post insulting whoever still might help the US.
My MAGA relative lives in NYC. He just sent me this screencap. This happened at his home subway station. It did little to lower the temp of his radicalization.

West Bloomfield is predominantly Jewish. The burbs south and east are heavily Muslim (as in burkas are a common sight). Hamtramck is 40m southeast. A friend with a Jewish name in Birmingham (40m east of the Temple) has a child in daycare at a Mosque. Lotta dynamics going on in the area.
A classmate of Mojtaba Khamenei recalled that the guy was laser-focused on end of the world, apocalyptic questions. And he thought that Iran had kind of a mission from God to bring about the end of the world. If that wasn't enough, Trump killed his dad, mom, wife and son. He wants to end our world.
And in between, Trump said a poll naming "affordability" an important issue was Fake News.
