Anyone else run and get bored of the same route? I tend to just wander with a general direction in mind and turn anytime I get a red light. After looking at maps of all the roads I’ve run, I now want to run every road in Tokyo. I have most of Senju, Asakusa and Ueno covered.
Not sure I’m fast enough to chase a dog but it could be good training.

No problem. Kids are awesome but it’s hard. And I still get summer anxiety. I find my self yelling things like, “hey, stay inside and play video games!” Also, keep an eye out for local parks with a water feature or little kiddie pool. I use ours more than my kids after I run.
And think about how to change and take advantage of your limited space at home. Make mamatomo’s and play at each other’s house. And take care of yourself. The worst days will suck but you will make it. I have three kids and have vague memories of some rough days but they are soon forgotten.
Good advice above. I used the baby carrier for short walks and always had a baby shaped sweat stain on my shirt but we survived. I used a baby hat or parasol for shade. Stroller cover works too. Keep walks short with a cool destination. Visit the nearest fureaikan and play there.

I had my first seizure at 50. Never knew adult epilepsy was a thing. It could also be the medicine affecting my memory.
My memory has suffered a lot the last couple years. It’s probably a bit of Covid, getting old and bring diagnosed with adult epilepsy a couple years ago.
