4th Circuit Rules That States Can Compel Trans Adults To "Appreciate Their Sex" Via Care Bans They ruled that states "encouraging citizens to appreciate their sex" through care bans is a constitutional goal, affirming West Virginia's Medicaid ban for trans adults.

1. Horrifying ruling out of the 4th Circuit.

An all-Republican 4th Circuit panel has just ruled that states can compel trans adults to "appreciate their sex" by enacting care bans.

It even directly says that trans adult care bans are legal in the ruling.

Okay, yes, *part* of it is the Schadenfreude, but most of it is trying to figure out *why* a game is 'bad', what could have been done to make it less *that*, and what interesting components might be up for a modern redo/reskin.

The way an author writes is important to the work itself. An author chooses word choice to not only convey information, but emotion and setting. Breaking a novel down into the cliffs notes gives no real wonder or passion to the project. And completely undermines why the book is important.

To the dumbest people you've ever met, the point of reading a book is to have a Wikipedia level understanding of its content and themes -- just high school book report ready.

The word choice and composition is the art form. It'd be like taking in an art gallery by only reading the info placards.

Records are made to be broken but, I can't stress this enough, this was not the record. Wilt Chamberlain still holds that by a lot.

Sportswriters complaining that Kobe got knocked down to third sound like MAGA idiots arguing that Riley Gaines really deserves the honor of fourth place. Grow up.
