I'm on the Canadian side in Oshawa east of Toronto.

Ice covered rocks extend into the water from the sandy shore. Snow is still present in the crevices between the rocks. The sun is still below the horizon but the sky is bright gold in colour and the gold is reflected on the water. Two bare narrow trees are growing between the rocks.
