I mean. I guess it’s open insofar as it’s full of water.
I got a new one when our cheap old one died and I like it has a bean reservoir (for 2-3 days) and you turn it on and makes the proper number of cups and you don’t have to stand over it, but the grinds stick to the container. I might go back when this one goes.
