Parents are getting to the age where they are downsizing so they suggested I spend the summer helping them. Work says I can take the summer off but I'm hesitant. In a perfect world I could work remotely at least part-time while traveling to see friends and adventuring

Tempted to host a March Madness group for this year. Anyone else interested?

Seeing a lot of posts about AC but for those wondering, I don't have any cons on my calendar for now. Have to buckle down on a few things but this does mean I can have trips to see friends outside of cons. Next potential con for me won't be until Megaplex most likely

I don't really post my art anymore, and I mostly draw for myself. Occasional commissions. But I made these for my weekly Arkham Horror game night and they bring me joy... even if I draw that damn crit fail token too damn often X3...

Grass types were always high on my list since my first-ever booster pack had Venusaur inside. Also have enjoyed nature and of course who can say no to a cute grass hedgehog?

I had the honor of meeting her in the summer of 2017 as a NASA contractor for an enrichment program. She told me to embrace the culture on the NASA Langley campus and to pursue my curiosities. I think she'd be happy to hear about me pursuing my PhD in the field from that program.

I can say that playing MMOs with friends is so much better than playing solo. Granted I'm used to playing those games on my own but it's more fun with others

Been tempted to get back into an MMO but my friends want me in different directions. Some want me back into WoW, others back into GW2, a few want me to try FF14

Reminds me how @executivechaos.bsky.social and I used to coordinate together and help make a couple of legendary items together. I would farm the mats, he would supply the gold

The downside of a nice vacation is that towards the end I keep thinking about what it will be like going back home. How I'll miss seeing my friends and how relaxed I can be in the right setting. Gotta make the most of today since I fly back tomorrow.

I do wish that there were more third spaces for me to frequent especially since I have an odd work schedule. Bar scenes have never been for me, clubs are a no-go, and there aren't as many group events that fit within my free time.

Spent my Valentine's Day going to a trading card expo to work on mine and @newlyn.bsky.social's wishlist. Fun conversations had with different vendors and got to put some smiles on kids faces when I gave them some of my extra cards

I really need to work on myself when it comes to my free time. I know taking a break is important to recharge but I just find myself going through a fair number of ARAM sessions on League and then find the time just evaporated. I should try to find other outlets

I did Kyoto - Nagoya - Hakone - Tokyo for my trip so I went to five pokemon centers in total. Shibuya didn't have a Pikachu but Nagoya has a Celebi, Yokohama was out of their nautical Pikachu. I got the train conductor one in Tokyo Station. I didn't have a chance to try out a cafe
