I use both for different things, no issues with either. Both better than commercial cleaning products, for sure. Eucalyptus is the most amazing thing for removing anything sticky- a giftstore owner told me that years ago for removing price tag stickers, brilliant on jam/pickle jars!

I just spray it on where the birds pooped & hose verandah daily anyway, but the smell, even thought diluted, must be enough to counter the smell of our cats & turn it away.

They avoid anywhere that smells like it, so I'm not sure how it could get anywhere near enough concentration through skin absorption to hurt a cat? Especially waterless down to 15% which is what we tend to use as a cleaning agent. Good to know though. I just knew they hate the smell & avoid it.

For what it's worth, I've started using a diluted eucalyptus spray mix to clean bird poop off the verandah- since then, we haven't had that vile cat invader come at night trying to get my 2 through their verandah catio. It may just be coincidence, but I hope it's a deterrent.
