One of my favorite anecdotes from this story is Deni Avdija talking about how Russell Westbrook would haze him as a rookie:
“10 PM before a road trip, he texts me a snack list… Wavy Lay’s barbecue chips, candy I’d never heard of. No stores even carry it.”
Deni Avdija is now an All-Star. But just 3 years ago he was unsure about his future in the league.
“Do I really belong here?” he’d ask himself.
