I’ve been enjoying this playlist on my dog walks this week.
💔
Got belatedly invested in the Winter Olympics when I found out a fellow Aberdonian was involved, I’m done with this nonsense now, melt it all down.
I addressed the haggis, sliced it open and delivered its warm-reekin’ and rich contents onto plates, and then, the final and most solemnly observed Burns Night custom: my children absolutely refused to eat it.
They’re coming for you! The energy in this is off the scale, an absolute worldie of a record.
Luke “Deep Filled” Littler v Gian “Crumble Topped” Van Veen.
Hugely enjoyed your work these world championships. The characters, the drama, the comedy, the tragedy, all captured superbly, really well done.

Last remnants of Xmas coming down now. Sad moment.
So good. I’ve lived in Leytonstone for a decade, but didn’t know about the history with the gym (it is now a Wetherspoons pub in case you are wondering!)
Some pretty niche NYE games going on in this house.
The Bug vs Ghost Dubs, Lasse Marhaug, Carrier, Aki Onda, Ndagga Rhythm Force, Faith Coloccia/Daniel Menche, Jakob Ullmann, Nicolas Gombert/James Weeks
2025 favourites
Still think that Rob “Voltage” Cross’s walk on music should be “The Electrician” by the Walker Brothers. Massive missed opportunity.
Alright, let’s go.
Love it. My kids have made a wallchart, it is blu-tacked to the fridge next to their supermarket mince pie league table, xmas starts here.
Love this, and Eastbrookend Park is a great location for it, a really underrated/undervisited spot in east London.
I wonder what twenty year old me would have made of fifty year old me spending Saturday night in a church listening to something as patient and delicate as the music of Marcus Granberg and Skogen.
I’m in bits here watching Andy Robertson’s post match interview.
Freed from desire, mine er na na new defied, freed from desire, NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA #scotlandflag
Christmas tree is up.
Christmas has come early this year.
My kids don’t jump around punching the air to Bunting’s walk-on, that is for sure.
Some of Soar’s stuff looks more like an Autechre live set than running kit (not cheap, mind). www.soarrunning.com/collections/...
So so good. There’s always one in each batch that hits in a way you didn’t see coming.
Haha, yes, we’ll never let him forget about that.
All the ones I have are free (I think!) so definitely worth it.
My phone is full of plant/insect/birdsong/fungus ID apps for when I’m walking the dog with the kids, you learn so much!
Paper bellflower rather than harebell I think
Torturous moment at the quiet start of a set by The Necks today at Cafe Oto when some music began playing, barely perceptibly, from someone’s phone, and I was terrified it was mine (but couldn’t check it as that would draw attention to me / make me look like an idiot who has done this before).
