Trying to get into the Pokemon TCG in 2026 is absolutely exhausting. It's amazing how much the game has changed, specifically the way cards are sold.
Back in the day you'd buy a starter deck and some booster packs from the latest set. Nowadays it seems way more complicated than that!

Predictably, physical copies have skyrocketed in price. Even though the digital version has only cost $9.99 USD since 2024.
Feels kind of like what happened with Concord. As soon as a game gets delisted, people want a physical copy regardless of whether the disc is even usable.
